Only 21 minutes of exercise a day!
Exercise keeps us healthy, controls weight, keeps the figure fit. Not only very important for the body. but also helps us live longer by increasing the scope of our life.
A recent study has shown that just 21 minutes of exercise per day . That’s why you can add up to three years to your life.
In a long 12-month study of 6,600 people in the UK, those who exercised for 150 minutes a week. Only 21 minutes a day, found that their life expectancy increased by more than three years.
The researchers observed changes in the daily life. And behavior of the participants before and after the exercise. According to a report published in The Independent, there was a positive effect on everyone’s behavior as they expected. (this information is given in the recent National Exercise Guidelines for Adults in the UK).
Participants reported that 31 percent considered time constraints to be the main barrier to exercise, 21 percent cited cost. And 19 percent said they did not enjoy exercise at all. And only 29 percent were found to be positive about exercise all the time.
Thinking about how to start exercising, you can start easily without any extra effort. For example, going up and down the stairs without using the elevator. I work sitting all day at the desk, dividing the 21 minutes into four parts, and sometimes standing up.
I can walk without sitting while talking on the phone. And from the office or home without getting into the car for five minutes before.
This is how small changes can give us the gift of three extra years in our lives.
